I have installed 2.04 sgallery. Set permission on pics and cache 777. Cannot create albums by admin, head admin, member. Creation Unsuccessful. I have also set config admin and mygallery php files to 777 still same. path ok to imagemagic on server. check server all green except yellow ImageFilter, magic_quotes_gpc:
I get ImageMagick formats: ./identify: not found this is the only suspicious one in server check.
Any ideas ?????

Don't chmod 0777 your scripts!
How about safe mod enabled on your server?

I have the same problem when trying to create a new category. Using sgallery 2.04 and e107 7.10
Creation unsuccessful....thats all it says?

Type ...admin_config?[debug=sql,+] in your browser, go to category creation page, submit and see if you are seeing any sql errors reported by e107 at the bottom of admin page.
type admin_config?[debug=sql,-] to switch off the debug module.

Thats what it is. No entry in database for e107_sgallery . Now all I have to do is figure out why not. Thanks for steering me in the right direction.

Thankfully this problem is on my test site, but I would like to fix this issue.
Fresh full install of e107 v 7.10 and CL gallery. After installation of the gallery I got a message saying database could not be created. Could this be a server setting? Can I manually create a database, if so, what to name it?
EDIT> OK, I just ran across the same problem with the Feature Box plugin...... Error creating database
So two plugins in a row that will not create a database.
