im using e107 V 0.7.8 I installed the LB 1.4 Plugin also checked everything for errors with the integrity check, everything fine
The plugin works if i do it with the [ ]lightbox=] [/lightbox[ ] Tag
But when i click on the Lightbox icon in Plugin Area of e107 or the LB icon under New Site where the lightbox gui should come up i get this error

It looks like server|e107|plugin configuration issue. "SAFE MODE Restriction in effect" - sounds bad! I can't help you much with server configuration, but it seams to be some kind of safe mod issue. How did you upload your plugin - via FTP or Plugin Manager?
