Well with the latest version instaled 2.05 I still have the same problem

If I set:

Front-end permissions:
If you choose "Nobody" no one will be able to access the thumbnail BBcode and the plugin front-end. However the plugin can be still used from other modules (Library mode)

To 'Premier Members' and not 'Everyone'

Then Premier Members can't even see the Gallery front end

I don't have any 'Gallery Menus' enabled either BTW

Oh and from admin >> database there is no option to check if the database tables are set up correctly??

You got me :) There is no plugin_sql yet, I'll add it in the next release.

Now, about your problem. Mail me the exact installation (core) you are using. I'll make a local install and I'll try to reproduce your problems.

Very latest CVS with 13 file hacks but some of those are language or cosmetic only

Wil do it tomorrow or Thursday as it's a busy family time here atm :)

Site is running on

PHP Version 5.2.5

MySQL 5.0.45-community

Which is causing an issue with another plugin of Father Barry's - wil see what we can find out about that first

Just to let you know that a member has just created a gallery OK so it is now working, (just not for me with a test account last time I tried)

THe site suffered a major server failure and was restored to a new one and the gallery seems to work OK now so unsure if it was a server side issue or what it was

Anyway for me the issue is no more :)
