One, I am wondering if it is possible to continue the "next" function in the lightbox so that you can view the entire album and not just the current page. For example, if I am looking at an album which has 20 pictures, but I have the settings so that there is 12 photos per page, when viewing the pictures with lightbox, when I click next by clicking the right side of the photo, I can only go as far as picture 12, as that is the number of pictures on that page. I would like to be able to continue clicking next all the way to picture 20, i.e. the end of the album, not just the end of the page.
The next question is in regards to menus. I am wondering if there is any way to have a menu that will display the latest additions to the gallery. So if a user adds some new photos, the menu on the home page would display something like the last five. That way people would know immediately when visiting the site that there are new photos to look at.
Lastly, I noticed that there is a new version of the gallery up on the e107 plugins page. I am wondering if there is any difference between it and RC5 in the downloads section here. If there is a difference which version should I be using so that I am using the latest and most stable version?
my two cents
1. Not possible. It makes no sense because lightbox reads only images which are present at the current page. What I mean - the solution is not Lightbox but lightbox-like AJAX script which will be used for 'per-picture' preview. It's more complicated as it seams to be. This will be implemented in feature versions (there is lot to do in this direction - database record for every uploaded image, server cache, a lot of well structured js etc)
2. CL Gallery is integrated in the core 'List' plugin. Install it and configure it - you'll be able to see only the recent submitted albums yet. Why - read above. This will be improved for sure in the future.
3. The most recent version of CL Gallery is v2.01 beta and yes - you should update to this version. It'll be available for download at this site too ( in few seconds :) )
