I installed the Lightbox 1.4 plug-in on my e107 0.7.8. It was installed by copying the .rar (I think it was) file to the server via remote desktop, unpacked in the plug-in folder and installed from e107 admin, plug-in manager.

After this was finished it is no longer possible to access the site! I go to the web-site and then only get the web sites main title in the top menu of I.E or Firefox.

How can I remove Lightbox completely and/or fix the problem ?

First try to rename e107_plugins/lightbox folder
I don't think it's exactly Lightbox problem as you are the only one from round 10 000 users reporting this. Just be sure you don't use it together with CL Widgets plugin and everything should be ok.
