Maybe the problem don't belong here but i give it a try.

I've built the fbox in my theme, i'm not a coder but in ie it looks well, when i look in ff then then main content is dropping down.

Then when you give the div a height the problem in ff is gone but thats not the solution, i only want to show the fbox in news.php and when you set a height an visit a other page everyting is X px lower.
