is there any way to include a flash header or banner that doesn't reload with every page refresh? after playing around with the "feature box" I was trying to do something similar with a flash banner rotator swf, but it starts from the first slide with every refresh. so I take it flash files start from scratch every refresh?

I'm not following you, if you reload a page, all page content is reloaded as well. It should be this way. If you wish to show different start banners, display them random.

for instance, in your harmony theme with the flash header, everytime you change pages, the first photo is re-displayed, then it starts the loop... yet in your featurebox with javascript, page changes don't take the glider back to the first banner. Is there a way to do that with flash? meaning it will continue to play and not reload when I switch from forums to news to downloads, etc.
