I get this message when I try to upload an image:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: process_uploaded_files() in /home/content/t/h/e/thenerennies/html/ e107_plugins/sgallery/includes/ sgal_actions_class.php on line 141

Anyone want to venture a guess as to why?

I suppose this means I should upgrade to version 0.7.11, which I have been putting of figuring that even if all went smoothly it would render 50% of my plugins useless or worse.

Actually 0.79 should be OK. However all plugins using 0.7 should also work with 0.7.11
The opposite is not true of course. The newest and well supported plugins need more recent versions to use the benefits of the new e107 core features.
