How do I add a background image to the menu areas? I would like the MENU areas to look like the NEWS area.

How do I edit the Orb from the Head Logo, you said the HEAD PSD was included but it seems to be incomplete? I would like the entire LOGO with all the slices and layers, that's what I paid for. Please post it here or send it to me.

You need to edit theme.php. If you are familiar with PHP, HTML and CSS writing you can do this. We don't provide custom theme customization as a part of our free support. This is a paid service that we can offer you.

In the downloaded package you can find LOGO.PSD and HEAD.PSD - no need of slices. Additional information of how to edit this images can be found in the how_to.pdf document.

You guys are really behind the times. If you want to make this a real service you need to lower your prices and allow people to give your theme a personalized look and feel. It's a shame that you don't offer subscription based service. I for one will never use your themes again at these prices.

I purchased this WAY OVERPRICED theme figuring you guys could help me customize it a little but now I see how it is.

I host over 150 e107 sites and close to 400 Joomla sites. I tried to get you guys to add subscription services after one of my client told me about you. My goal was to let people know about your themes and possibly work something out with you like I did with infade. Which BTW infade has made huge money off of me over the last 4 years. My clients have paid him 1000s for his themes. I know Frode, hes a good guy but his themes have a dimensional look which was why I was hoping you guys would work out.

Your service could have been the ONE service that finally brought e107 to compete with joomla but I see that wont happen.

I will make sure no one uses this service and will push joomla to people who want good/quality affordable themes.

Bottom Line, you need to either build service like Rockettheme.com or templateplazza.com or you will be gone in a year. Your themes will get stale and no one will want them anymore. I have been in this business a very long time. If you want to be the e107 big dog it's time to stop thinking like a cat.

Subscription based themes is the way to go. The first person that does it for e107 will be the one that becomes the big dog.

It's sad because I see so much potential here.

I will let your post about prices, service, infade etc. without any comment. "You are not in my house to really know what kind of pajamas I use"... You really don't know what we plan and where we go regarding e107. Just answer your self the question "Where is the free-source team in the past couple months?" ... patience my brother.

I know you don't need to wear Pajamas to have over priced themes. You could justify the higher prices of a single theme by helping people customize so they have a personalized look and feel.

Like I said, I have over 150 e107 sites which would use this service if the themes you provided were more customizable.

Rockettheme.com provides 1 new theme each month. There subscriber base is in the 1000s'. You can change there themes to look the way you want it.

I need to know one more thing before closing this thread: If we offer you a subscription service and you are one of this subscribers with your 150+ sites you are allowed to use just 2 or 3 concurent themes per subscription. I don't think you'll pay the additional licenses for using the themes. You'll just download all of them and providing the themes as your service to customers, fiends etc. and making a profit from. Excuse my English but 90% of our customers do the same thing. Choose one graphic designer over the net (there are millions), one PHP coder and ask them to design and code one e107 theme... or joomla if you like at this price. Here at free-source you can buy one theme for just ca $45-50 and then resell this as your service to the client for 1000+. I'm not a fool, but I can live with this. Now I ask you to stop flooding this forum with un-useful post. If you like rocketheme then go and use there themes. If you like infade then go and use infade. If don't like our prices no one force you to buy the themes, If you still like us then please wait until we have the service that is good for you - the time will come. And the last - I've helped too much people without any penny - no money !!! - they just asked me if we can do this. The FREE service such a plugins, support, helping people in creating themes is more then the paid one.

BTW: I WAS mambo user since they came to the world. Make your own conclusions.

This is exactly why you will never be a rockettheme.com or templateplazza.com. Would you rather sell one theme which BTW I can give to anyone I want or offer all your themes for a yearly subscription at a higher rate.

Look at rockettheme's pricing. It's not cheap.

I come here and buy 2 themes for 80.00. Give them to whoever I want or come here and pay 250.00 for all your templates. Keep in mind, this is a annual fee. So if I want your new templates next year, I have to pay an upgrade fee.

Think of it like this, if you make it subscription based your now a service instead of a sales website.

Trust me, I know what I am talking about. All you have to do is the research. Go look at rockettheme.com forums and see how many of 1000s of posts and look at the community. You have a chance to be the first one for e107 to do that but it appears you want to be the cat instead of the bog dog.

Who told you that we don't want this kind of service - we just need the time to develop it. I don't need to trust you, you don't need to give us examples with rocketheme - we know exactly what is good for us or our business. About the research - is already done - an year ago .... this is my last post because I don't have more time to explain our steps in releasing a plan we already have.

I guess you don't get what I am trying to say which is a shame. You have great skins but your tunnel vision is clouding the bigger picture. Sell a theme or two and make a few bucks or sell them all and make good cash.

Your more worried about people giving the themes away then anything else. You have mentioned this several times in these forums.

BTW, you can download most everyone of your themes for free on a Bit Torrent which is why I said creating a service is better.

Keep people interested in your site, offer them a service with advice and show them ways to customized your themes and they will be less likely to give the themes that paid good money for away.

We are releasing our templates with source files, you need minimum XHTML/PHP/e107 skills to re-template your theme.
In the end - it's our business what kind of service and WHEN we'll run - NOT yours. I've answered all your questions a month ago.

Oh, and by the way - rockettheme & similar do not support (work on) the joomla core. Look around and see where the most popular e107 plugins come from. Our premium services suffer because of our free services, so stop crying and have some respect.
